To Fujino Takane
This work features footage recorded over four days.
This student seemed to know a little about competitive karuta, but said she had never actually played before, so we started by teaching her posture and form. She picked it up quickly and, being obedient, moved dynamically during the striking practice.
She was polite and personally one of my favorite students. She was wearing her summer uniform at the time, but I found myself wishing I could see her in her winter uniform too.
